4-course Jalisco-themed dinner with hors d'oeuvres and tequila pairings

Tequila dinner at The Establishment on Broad Street

June 22nd @ 6pm

The Establishment is hosting a Tequila inspired dinner! Chef Elliott Howells has created a 4-course tasting menu to accentuate the famous spirit of Jalisco. The menu will include multiple styles of tequila from Blanco to Extra Anejo and will also feature hors d'oeuvres, intermezzo, and a special sendoff amusement. Hors d'oeuvres and greet cocktails will start at 6pm sharp with the seated dinner to follow at 6:30pm.

1st course
Seasonal Crudo, ahi amarillo, serrano, potato crunch
Deleon Platinum (Blanco)

2nd course
Nduja Broiled Oyster, charred vegetable, roasted tomatillo
"The Packie Pick" Corazon Extra Anejo aged in Eagle Rare Barrel.

3rd course
Cocoa Braised Brisket, roasted onions, avocado
Codigo Anejo

4th course
Banana Chocolate Bread Pudding, brown sugar caramel chantilly
Fully composed tequila based dessert cocktail.

The Latest Dish


Let’s give a *hand* to Mike Crimmins, lead server at The Establishment 🙌  Hailing from MA, Mike worked as a bartender and GM for an Italian restaurant before moving to Charleston and joining Al Di La. Which explains his deep passion for Italian wine and being affectionately known as a hand talker. 🍷 We’ve been lucky to have him part of the team for 3 years now. 

Favorite part of The Establishment? “The people, there are people here that I genuinely consider family .” 🖤

Favorite dish? “The Whole Fish, hands down.” (we’re starting to notice a pattern here…). “Second, any type of #crudo Chef puts on the menu.”

Advice to any new patrons at The Establishment? “The intent of dining with us is to have an experience. Our guests have a passion for food and trying dishes outside of the box.

And try the wine. Our wine list gives you the opportunity to try something that not a lot of places around here have.“
