Pairing the Wines of Rutherford, Napa Valley with Lowcountry Fare

Enjoy an incredible 4-course dinner from The Establishment with wine pairings from Napa Valley's Honig Vineyard

The Establishment will be hosting a Four-Course Wine Dinner on Wednesday, April 12th featuring some of Napa Valley's best wines. Honig Vineyards of Rutherford will be the featured winery, bringing their fabulous Sauvignon Blancs and Cabernet Sauvignons. Michael Honig, President and Manager of Honig Vineyard will be in attendance to discuss the wines and lead the dinner. Chef Elliott Howells has created an exquisite menu to highlight these certified sustainable wines while showcasing our incredible local and regional ingredients.

Dinner starts at 6pm with passed hors d'oeuvres in our private dining room. Come join us for a truly exceptional experience!

Beet-cured Steelhead citrus segments, green strawberries, tarragon
Honig Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc

Second Course

Chicken Oysters , roasted artichokes, almond, spring onion pesto, naan
Honig Rutherford Reserve Sauvignon Blanc / Semillon Blend

Third Course

Pork Belly lavender soubise, pea shoots, pork cracklin'
Honig Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Fourth Course

Cheesecake ice cream sandwich
Honig Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc

Let’s give a *hand* to Mike Crimmins, lead server at The Establishment 🙌  Hailing from MA, Mike worked as a bartender and GM for an Italian restaurant before moving to Charleston and joining Al Di La. Which explains his deep passion for Italian wine and being affectionately known as a hand talker. 🍷 We’ve been lucky to have him part of the team for 3 years now. 

Favorite part of The Establishment? “The people, there are people here that I genuinely consider family .” 🖤

Favorite dish? “The Whole Fish, hands down.” (we’re starting to notice a pattern here…). “Second, any type of #crudo Chef puts on the menu.”

Advice to any new patrons at The Establishment? “The intent of dining with us is to have an experience. Our guests have a passion for food and trying dishes outside of the box.

And try the wine. Our wine list gives you the opportunity to try something that not a lot of places around here have.“
